U.S. containerboard production increased in October 2016

(Washington DC, USA, Nov. 17, 2016) The American Forest & Paper Association released its October 2016 U.S. Containerboard Statistics Report, which said containerboard production was 1.3 percent higher compared to October 2015. The month-over-month average daily production compared to September 2016 was 2.1 percent lower. The containerboard operating rate for October decreased to 95.5 percent, while the year-to-date operating rate of 95 percent was 0.9 percent lower compared to year-to-date 2015. Fibria invests CAD 5.3 million for minority interest in CelluForce
