German tissue paper maker upgrades Polish plant
(Switzerland, Nov. 08, 2016) German tissue maker Wepa Professional Hygiene has awarded a contract to Zurich-based ABB to expand the energy efficiency of its production facility in Piechowice, in Poland’s south-western part.
Under the plan, a new 110/20 kV substation will increase the factory’s energy supply capacity from the current 5 MV to 12 MV, raising the production facility’s output capacity and its energy efficiency, reports local news site Wnp.pl.
The amount of the investment in Piechowice was not disclosed by the firms.
