The 2003 International Environmental Conference and Exhibit promises to be an exceptional conference packed full of valuable technical papers, panel discussion, and workshops that you will find essential in developing your mill's future environmental strategy. The conference chairman is Dan Diehl.
Organized by TAPPI and cosponsored by the Pulp and Paper Technical Association of Canada and the United States Department of Agriculture Forest Service members of these organizations can register for the conference at the member rate.
The conference will honour some of the people who have been important contributors to the pulp and paper environmental field over the past year. In addition, Mr Chuck Leavell will be the keynote speaker. Chuck is an award-winning tree farmer from Georgia and author of the book "Forever Green: The History and Hope of the American Forest." He is well known for his inspiring talks in support of the forest products industry.
A CEO Panel has been organized for the 2003 conference. Confirmed participants are Carlos Aguiar, Aracruz Cellulose, S.A., Jeffery Hearn, Weldwood of Canada, and George Harad, Boise Cascade. The CEO Panel will be moderated by Sally Love, President, Paragon Management Consulting.
The technical program promises to be very informative and interesting. Many of the major topics facing our industry are being addressed.
