Kyiv CPM to upgrade paper machine
(Kyiv, Ukraine, Sept. 09, 2016) Kyiv CPM has launched a modernization project of its tissue making machine, replacing the existing drying cylinder with a new one, manufactured by Valmet, Sweden.
According to the company information, the equipment was shipped from the city of Karlstad (Sweden) August 31, 2016, a month before the scheduled date. Expected delivery time of the drying cylinder with internal bearings and snap – the middle of October 2016. Entering the cylinder is scheduled for the end of October 2016.
Installation of a new Yankee cylinder will increase productivity and significantly improve the quality of the tissue paper made by Kiyv CPM. (Source: press release)
