Pulp Stats: Global producers stock July 2016

(Stockholm, Sweden, August 24, 2016) In July, global producers’ stocks increased by 4 days of supply to 39 days, with softwood kraft as well as hardwood kraft up 4 days.
Global shipments declined marginally compared to July last year, down 0.5%. Softwood kraft pulp reached an average shipment-to-capacity ratio of 90%, while hardwood reached 84%.
In July, the global producers’ stocks of bleached kraft market pulp increased by 4 days to 39 days. Stocks of softwood kraft pulp up by 4 days to 32 days and hardwood kraft up 4 days to 46 days. (Source: EPIS via Sodra)
