Hungary’s UgrinPack to expand, modernize plant
(Budapest, August 29, 2016) Hungary-based cardboard packaging maker Dunapack Kft has secured an investment grant of about HUF 760 million (€2.5 million) with the aim to modernize its output capacity.
Dunapack’s Hungarian offshoot operates factories in Budapest, Du-naújváros and Nyíregyháza. The funds were allocated by the European Union, and distributed among local companies and research entities by the state-run National Research Development and Innovation Office (NKFIH).
The programme will allow to co-fund a total of 247 innovative projects by Hungarian businesses in the 2014 to 2020 financial period.
